Deloitte Digital Hires Kenny Gold As First Head of Social, Content + Influencer

A digital agency without a head of social? Inconceivable, but that was the case for Deloitte Digital.  

The agency named Kenny Gold as Managing Director and its first-ever Head of Social, Content + Influencer.

“Social is the most human channel to connect with people out in the world,” said Leslie Sims, Deloitte Digital’s newly hired Chief Creative Officer. “It was time to bring in a leader committed to embedding social thinking into all of our brand ecosystems. Kenny is a force of nature, comfortable heading into even the most uncharted waters—which, in the social and culture space, are the only waters out there.”

“Digital is our heritage but today we’re much more than that,” continued Sims. “Any platform where you can speak back and forth with people as a brand is an opportunity to persuade and connect. Social is the glue that holds all the disparate parts of brand messaging together. “



Gold will work with Sims to help drive new business growth with content and influencer strategies across client portfolios. He’ll also work with Deloitte Digital’s overall creative, design and strategy teams to create integrated campaigns and solutions.

Most recently, Gold served as Director of Social Media at Grey Group, New York. Prior to that, he was a director at Burson-Marsteller and Strategy Director, Social Media, at McCann.
