Former Wunderman Thompson NY CEO Joins Landor & Fitch

WPP branding agency Landor & Fitch has tapped Joe Crump to be executive strategy director of experience, Americas. 

Based in New York, Crump will lead the company’s Experience Strategy Practice and is tasked with expanding the unit’s offering. He will also focus on new business development and organic growth. 

Landor & Fitch clients include Apple, Bang & Olufsen, BP, Kellogg’s, Lego, Microsoft, Nike, Procter & Gamble, Singtel, to name a few. 

Previously Crump was CEO of sibling agency Wunderman Thompson New York, where he is credited with launching the agency's first Customer Experience Center of Excellence in North America, designing journey-based products and experiences for brands including Walmart, VW, and Verizon. 

According to the agency in 2019 he created the industry’s first Inclusive Experience Design (IXD) practice, focused on designing products and brand experiences for people of all physical and cognitive abilities. 

Crump also spent 17 years as a leader at Razorfish where he launched the Product and Service Innovation Practice, helping the agency's largest clients use emerging technology to develop new products and experiences.
