Adland's Madonna Badger Wins Lifetime Achievement Award

Madonna Badger, Founder-Chief Creative Officer of independent creative agency Badger & Winters, will receive the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW)’s Lifetime Achievement Award at this week’s Women Leadership Awards to be held virtually tomorrow (Sept. 9).

She joins past CEW Lifetime Achievement Award recipients Lynne Greene, Jeanette Wagner, Karen Fondu and Leonard Lauder.

Known as a disruptor, creative leader and mentor, Badger has dedicated more than 30 years to improving how women are represented, served and hired in media. In 2016, she launched the #WomenNotObjects campaign, which championed the end of the objectification of women in advertising.

Badger also successfully lobbied the Cannes Lions International Ad Festival to prohibit work that objectifies women.

“I am so deeply honored,” notes Madonna Badger, Founder-Chief Creative Officer at Badger & Winters. “But as wonderful as it is to be recognized with this incredible CEW Lifetime Achievement Award, for me it truly is about the work and its impact on making our worlds, big and small, better than we found it: more brave, more filled with love and hope and light, more dedicated to values we believe in. ‘Those who can — should’ — has become my passion.”
