IPG's Jack Morton Hires First Global Strategy Head

Interpublic’s global experiential agency Jack Morton has hired Martyn Clarkson as executive vice president, global head of strategy. The role is a first at the agency. 

Clarkson will be responsible for driving the agency’s strategic vision as well as evaluating its products and processes across the network to elevate the agency’s strategy offering globally. He will also sit on the agency’s executive leadership team. 

Originally from New Zealand, Clarkson’s career has spanned the Europe, Africa and the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions as well as the U.S. Most recently he served as head of strategy at Auburn Hills, MI-based event and brand marketing agency George P. Johnson. 

Earlier he served at both Momentum Worldwide (part of McCann Worldgroup) and Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett.
