Angela Steele, the CEO of Dentsu agency Carat USA for the last two years is departing to take a global role at Publicis Groupe, effective in January 2022.
Publicis Groupe said the details of her global role will be disclosed when she joins the company. She will report directly to Arthur Sadoun, CEO and Chairman of Publicis Groupe.
Prior to leading Carat USA, Steele was Chief Strategy Officer at the agency and before that was the global product lead on the agency’s General Motors Account. She spent a little over six years at the agency.
The new appointment marks a return to Publicis Groupe for Steele, who earlier spent more than a decade in leadership roles at its media agency Starcom.
