Stellantis’ Ram Truck Brand is partnering with Lucchese to launch a premium boot collection that highlights elements of one of the automaker’s special edition pickup trucks.
The handcrafted boot collection is inspired by the materials within the 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition. The line includes five Ram-branded boots for both men and women that range in price from $695 to $2,495.
With any partnership Lucchese enters, the company looks for shared values and common purpose, says Doug Hogue, vice president of product and marketing for Lucchese.
El Paso, Texas-based Lucchese has been making boots since 1883 using a 100-plus step process and the two brands are aligned in their focus on high quality and premium experiences, he says.
Ram Truck Brand dives deeper into the creative process, creation and execution of the boot collection on its "Behind the Badge" hub. The piece includes a personal interview from Ryan Nagode, chief interior designer, Ram Truck Brand and Trey Gilmore, director of product development, Lucchese.
“Elements from boot designs and saddle designs very much influenced our design process,” Nagode says. “I love the fact that we are able to collaborate now with Lucchese, and work together to come out with something that, for them, is a takeoff on our interior. It was a full circle, 360-degree process that happened over time, which is great.”
