'Klicksters' Spread Holiday Joy

If you were given a $100 bill to make a difference in someone’s life what would you do?

To celebrate the joy of giving this holiday season, healthcare agency Klick Health Group gave hundreds of employees a hundred bucks each to do just that.

And then the agency made a heartwarming video of the joy that was spread. And it certainly tugs at the heartstrings. The clip, aptly titled #SpreadJoy, ends with the message, “When You Give Joy, You Get Joy.”

But the giving doesn’t stop there. The agency is donating $1 for every YouTube view the video receives to Make-A-Wish Canada, up to $10,000.

If previous holiday videos produced by the agency are any indication, that cap will be easily reached. Last year’s “When Nobody’s watching” effort received almost 5 million views and 2019’s “Kindness is Contagious” garnered 6 million views and won a Webby Award.

The agency also added Make-A-Wish to its internal “Klick It Forward” giving platform for the month of December so employees can direct the corporate donation dollars they receive to the charity.

Those “Klicksters” who participated in the project—630 in total--also served as cinematographers, location scouts and of course the stars of the holiday effort. The in-house production team pulled it all together.

What’s not to like, right? So go watch the video. And “like” it.
