Wunderman Thompson has appointed Carrie Philpott as Chief Client Officer for North America. She takes on this role in addition to her role as President of Atlanta which she has held since joining the agency in 2019. 

In the top client role Philpot replaces former Chief Client Officer, Jason Burby, who retired in November. She’ll report to Audrey Melofchik, who was recently named CEO of Wunderman Thompson North America. 

Her added remit includes connecting clients and the agency’s leadership teams to deliver optimal creative, consulting, data, commerce, and technology services. 

Prior to joining Wunderman Thompson Philpott was the Managing Director of Huge Atlanta. 

Word of her added duties follows a flurry of key executive hires at the agency. In November, Karyn Rockwell and Jennifer Mollo were appointed president of the Midwest region and managing director of Austin respectively, and in October, Wunderman Thompson New York appointed Rodrigo Maroni as Chief Strategy Officer.
