Cona Appointed Chief Growth Officer At Wunderman Thompson NA

WPP’s Wunderman Thompson has hired Laura Cona to serve as Chief Growth Officer for North America.  She replaces Melissa Dorko who left the agency earlier this year and is now with Deloitte Consulting.

Cona’ hire is the latest senior NA executive appointment at the agency. Recently the agency tapped Carrie Philpott as Chief Client Officer while Tony Weber was named Chief Data Officer. The agency also recently welcomed Jennifer Mollo as managing director of Austin, Karyn Rockwell as president of Midwest, and elevated Corrine Hendricks to president of Wunderman Thompson, California.

“Laura joins Wunderman Thompson at a pivotal time for today’s CMOs who work at the speed of culture and business and count on a partner to lead their brand across every touchpoint within one agency,” says Audrey Melofchik, CEO of Wunderman Thompson North America. "Laura’s creativity, ambition and eye on growth made her an easy choice for this role.”

Earlier she spent five years at IPG’s FCB New York where she was responsible for agency growth, marketing and communications.
