Miami-based ad agency David, part of the Ogilvy network, has opened an office in New York.
It marks the agency’s sixth office opening and third in the past two years. The other offices include Miami, Madrid, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Bogota.
The NY office opening follows a major win for the agency—it was selected to be TD Bank’s new U.S. creative agency last fall. The new location also brings it closer to several long-standing clients including Coca-Cola and AB InBev which have offices in the city.
David New York will be led by Luiza Prata Carvalho, Managing Director, André Toledo, Chief Creative Officer, and Paula Vampre, Global Chief Strategy Officer.
Carvalho joined David Miami in 2021 from Wieden + Kennedy Portland, where she handled the Nike account and was responsible for campaigns such as Dream Crazy and Dream Crazier. Vampre is also global CSO at the agency. She’s based in New York and oversees strategists across all global accounts.
The agency is still fleshing out the New York office team and more details are expected soon.
