Agency and marketing veteran Doug Sweeny has joined Redwood City, CA-based health technology firm Prenuvo as Chief Business Officer.

Sweeny, reporting to CEO Andrew Lacy will lead marketing, sales and product development.

Previously Sweeny was CMO at health care provider One Medical. Earlier he was CMO at Nest Labs (now part of Google) and then a marketing vice president at Google.

Earlier he led Y&R’s western region as president and served as vp of global brand marketing at Levi Strauss. He also served as a managing director at Omnicom’s TBWA\Chiat\Day. Earlier in his career he served at several other agencies.

Prenuvo has pioneered techniques utilizing artificial intelligence with magnetic resonance imaging to rapidly detect cancer and other diseases.
