
Microsoft says it has fixed an Outlook outage that hit on
Monday.
The company blamed the issue on “a network router [that] was performing below acceptable thresholds,” according to Digital Trends.
Outlook users complained to downdetector of problems with server connections (76%), receiving (14%) and login (10%).
“Cannot send or receive
emails,” said one.
“All I keep getting every time I try to open a piece of mail is error please try again which doesn't work also spam and deleted mail
will not load at all!” wrote another.
The problems apparently peaked at around 11 a.m. ET on Monday.
Microsoft tweeted, “We’re
investigating an issue with users accessing or experience degraded functionality when using Exchange Online and http://outlook.com services.”
