
Digital transformation specialist Bounteous has
hired former Merkle executive Michael McLaren as president, North America.
As part of his growth-driving remit, McLaren is tasked with identifying new strategic capabilities, building centers
of excellence, and advising client leaders.
The company’s NA clients include Caesars Entertainment, Coca-Cola, Domino's, and Mars Wrigley.
McLaren previously served as CEO of
Merkle B2B, where he led the global expansion of the company’s B2B practice.
Prior to his five-plus year stint at Merkle, McLaren held several senior executive roles at McCann
Worldgroup, first as worldwide account director on Microsoft, later as President of McCann Erickson USA. Then he filled the dual role as CEO of McCann Worldgroup Japan and Regional President of McCann
Worldgroup Asia Pacific, where he oversaw operations in 14 countries. He also served as CEO of MRM//McCann.
McLaren’s appointment follows news earlier this month that Bounteous added
former Accenture Interactive CEO Brian Whipple and Holly Paul, Chief Human Resources Officer, FTI Consulting to its board.
