Havas Group, part of Vivendi, reported organic revenue growth of 11.5% in the second quarter. That’s on top of 15.8% organic growth achieved in Q2 of 2021. Net revenues for the period were €642 ($652), up 21%.
For the first half Havas Group net revenue totaled €1.206 billion ($1.226 billion), up nearly 20% versus the first half of 2021. Organic growth for the half was also 11.5%, while currency fluctuations contributed 5.6% and M&A activity adding 2.7%.
First half organic growth by region: Europe, 11.7%; North America, 7.6%; Asia Pacific, 10.7%, and Latin America, 47.7%.
Company acquisitions in the first half included Tinkle (with operations in Spain & Portugal), Inviqua (UK & Germany), Search Laboratory (UK & US), Frontier (Australia) and Front Networks (China).
Major account wins in the first half included Boehringer Ingelheim (media, US), Chewy (creative, Arnold Boston) and Amgen (Havas Health & You).
Vivendi did not provide guidance for full-year 2022 growth for any of its divisions which in addition to Havas include Canal+ Group, Gameloft and others. The firm said there were too many uncertainties, including the global economy and the war in Ukraine.
