What's Next For Jill Metcalf?: Long-Term Transformation Of Dentsu Media Shops


Dentsu International has named Jill Metcalf as Chief of Business Strategy & Transformation for Media in the Americas, a new role responsible for designing and implementing "long-range, proactive initiatives" across its three media agency networks: Carat, Dentsu X and iProspect.

Metcalf, who joins from GroupM's senior vice president-client operations for the Americas at GroupM's Essence, reports to Dentsu Media Americas CEO Doug Rozen.

Prior to joining Essence in 2014, Metcalf was a consultant at Deloitte and IBM.

In a statement, the agency characterized Metcalf's role as "what's next" for its clients.
