Stellantis Brings Experiential Elements To New Detroit Auto Show

Stellantis will bring the popular Camp Jeep and Ram Truck Territory indoor test tracks to the 2022 Detroit auto show for the first time.

These interactive test tracks have attracted thousands of people at dozens of venues including the New York and Chicago auto shows.

Since its inception in 2004, more than 2.85 million people have taken free rides on the Camp Jeep test track during multiple auto shows in various Jeep vehicles. Riders get a glimpse at a multitude of off-road features that they may not commonly experience in everyday driving.

This year’s North American International Auto Show is being held for the first time in September with the aim of including more outdoor and family-friendly activities, according to the Detroit show organizers.

It is anticipated that more than 30,000 people will ride on the Jeep track and 25,000 test rides will be given in Ram vehicles during the Detroit show from Sept. 14-25. Professional drivers are used on both experiences.

Ram Truck Territory, which features professional drivers giving rides,  combines key vocational capabilities, such as towing, payload, torque and technology, with off-road capabilities, like traction, articulation and suspension.

Ram vehicles featured include the Ram 1500 Laramie, Ram 1500 Ram Limited, Ram 1500 Rebel and Ram 3500 Limited 6.7L Cummins High-Output.
