Shark Beauty Goes Global 'For All Hairkind'

Shark Beauty will launch the company’s first global brand campaign, “For All Hairkind” in early Q4.

The campaign will spotlight all hair types and the singular stories they tell.

The goal is to help consumers embrace their hair — regardless of length, color, thickness or texture — and explore its possibilities without compromising on hair health.

Zambezi did the creative work for the ad campaign.

The 30-second “For All Hairkind” spot includes digital and social elements, as well. Shark Beauty is aligned with NBCU, including Telemundo, to promote stronger representation of all hair types in the media.

“Other hair stylers in the marketplace didn’t meet the needs of the estimated 65% of the U.S. population that has curly, coily or wavy hair – too many people have been left out, and we decided to take our vision of creating disruptive innovations for all, into this space,” Bill Davaris, Chief Marketing Officer, SharkNinja, told Agency Daily.

“With the Shark FlexStyle™, we tapped into our engineering expertise to design an all-in-one hair dryer and styler designed by and for all hair types,” he added, calling the tool an “inclusive innovation marvel.”

Shark Beauty is introducing its Shark Beauty Collective with diverse celebrity stylists: Glen Coco, Ursula Stephen and Dafne Evangelista.

Shark FlexStyle is compact and lightweight, weighing just over 1.5 lbs.

Zambezi, which claims to be the largest female-owned full-service agency in the U.S., has done work for Traeger Grills, USGA and UKG, a global company that provides HR and workforce management solutions.
