Tug Expands Operations, Opens New York Office To Take U.S. Brands Global

Tug, a digital performance-marketing agency, has opened a New York office. The move allows the agency an opportunity to expand its North American roster and take U.S. brands global.

The agency currently has operations in Toronto, London, Sydney, Berlin and Singapore.

Tug handles the global business for legal software provider LEAP. Local teams managing its display, social, PPC, SEO, and data and analytics across multiple markets.

The managing director for Tug's New York office will be officially announced in a few weeks.

However, the agency, which became independent in 2006, did note former Proximity Global CEO Mike Dodds is now on the baord as a non-executive director, providing strategic advice.

Tug CEO-founder Nick Beck said: “By applying our smart combination approach and leveraging our local capabilities across six global offices, we’re able to really drive digital growth for U.S. advertisers internationally. Crucially, through our base in Toronto, U.S. clients can also benefit from the near-shoring of costs which, in the current economic environment, will enable them to get more out of their budgets.”
“Tug knows our products through their work for LEAP globally, but I have been impressed by their data-driven approach to understanding the state by state nuances of legal software in the U.S.,” says Peter Baverstock, Chief Executive Officer, LEAP US. “Now, with boots on the ground in New York, we look forward to further local optimization of campaigns."
