'Fast Company' Offers Talks Between Mothers And Daughters On Work

Fast Company has debuted a multimedia package titled "Ambition Diaries," in partnership with the journalism nonprofit Economic Hardship Reporting Project. 

The package features conversations between 14 mothers and daughters about women’s progress in the workforce. 

The topics includediscrimination, pay gap, career advancement, work-life balance, and how the pandemic has changed our relationship to work.

The project includes seven articles with original photography and audio clips, and a four-episode mini-series on Fast Company’s "The New Way We Work" podcast. The episodes, the first of which aired on Oct. 3, will be offered each Monday in October.

The 14 mothers and daughters profiled in "Ambition Diaries"come from a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, and range from 27 to 81. Seven reporters gathered conversations over a period of months.
