Omnicom Group Adds Chief Client Officer Role, Taps Critical Mass' Lennon To Fill It

Omnicom Group has appointed Andrea Lennon to the new role of Chief Client Officer. She’s based in New York.

Lennon will be responsible for leading Omnicom’s Global Client Leaders (GCL) Group that manages client solutions across Omnicom’s leading agencies and practice areas. That work is primarily for major so-called “enterprise” clients.

The company said Lennon would work with the GCL team to further enhance marketing solutions and capabilities (related to data, creative, media, communications and technology) that drive results.

She was previously at Omnicom digital experience and design agency Critical Mass where she spent seven years working in Asia, Europe, and the US prior to being named President two years ago. Earlier she served at Interpublic’s R/GA and WPP, working with clients in the health and financial sectors.

“In a transformed consumer world, our enterprise clients increasingly want fully integrated service solutions that seamlessly draw on our best talent and capabilities from every discipline,” stated Daryl Simm, President and COO Omnicom Group. Lennon has the right mix of skills, he added, to take “our business impact to the next level.”
