Walrus is making advertisers an appealing offer.
If a company pays for the media buy for a national spot that airs during the Super Bowl on Feb. 12, as well as all out-of-pocket production costs, the ad is gratis.
*The catch: The client will only pay Walrus its fee if the spot appears in one of the top five slots on the USA Today Ad Meter published the day after the game.
The offer is posted on the agency's site.
Intrigued? The New York City agency hopes so — and its reasoning is bottom-line: It hasn't made a Super Bowl spot before. It believes it has the talent and creativity to produce one. Finally, the creatives want their parents to see work they have done.
The offer is only good for one brand. If several
express interest, the agency will discuss with the brand team and make a determination.
