Resale Firm Archive Snares $15 Million In Funding

Archive, a tech company that offers the building of a resale operating system for brands, has raised $15 million in Series A funds, bringing its total financing to over $24 million.

The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Fernbrook Capital, G9 Ventures, and several minority investors.

Alex Taussig, partner at Lightspeed, will join Archive’s board of directors.

The funding will be largely used for hiring across the firm’s engineering and brand success teams.

"Resale is a massive online category already and growing three times as fast as new apparel sales," Taussig states. "Archive has become the standard of choice for well-known brands from Oscar de la Renta to The North Face, that want to embed resale into their supply chain.”

Archive was launched less than two years ago.
