Proof Taps Prince As First Chief Growth Officer

Jeff Prince has been named Austin, Texas-based agency Proof’s first Chief Growth Officer.

He is responsible for the agency's new business and brand-growth initiatives.

Most recently, Prince was executive director-head of account management at DDB New York, providing senior leadership to clients such as Pepsi, Unilever (Lipton, Pure Leaf, Breyers ice cream), The Kroger Company and Aflac.

Prior to that, he was executive group director at Droga5, where he worked with Google to launch the Pixel phone and Chase to launch its Chase for Business unit.

Prince will be based remotely in Connecticut.

Proof gave up its office space in 2021, embracing a work-from-anywhere culture.

“The impact of allowing us to hire from anywhere and work from anywhere has allowed us to add significant talent that otherwise would not have moved to Austin in the work-from-office days,” said CEO Bryan Christian.

In addition, the company recently recast itself as a “brand liberation agency,” freeing brands to expand and add value in new, innovative ways.

The hire marks Prince’s return to the agency, where he first worked in 2002. He has also held posts at MullenLowe Group in LA, BBDO, GSD&M and McCann-Erickson NY.

This marks Prince’s second act at Proof after joining the agency in 2002 in new business and account management. He returns at a pivotal point in Proof's new journey upward.

“Proof is the type of partner-minded agency where growth won't just come from new business, but from using innovation and creativity to liberate brands from constrictions and help them achieve great business outcomes.”

Proof’s client roster includes Subway Restaurants, Waterloo Water, Travel Texas, Explore Branson and Champion Energy.
