The International English Language Testing System (IELTS), an English test for international study, migration and work, named M&C Saatchi as its global agency partner.
The appointment follows a competitive pitch.
IELTS is the leading standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English-language speakers.
M&C Saatchi’s remit is to develop a new global brand platform, communications strategy, media strategy and creative campaign to relaunch the brand.
The agency will create a marketing vision that encourages test takers to study, work or move abroad, positing IELTS mastery as key to a successful future.
IELTS delivers training and testing in partnership with the British Council, IDP IELTS and Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
Mary Harris, Managing Partner, M&C Saatchi, said IELTS makes a “meaningful difference,” enabling test-takers to “go out into the world as confident global citizens.”
In mid-January, the agency, M&C Saatchi London added two new senior creative teams, capitalizing on business wins at the end of 2022. Alex Lucas and Jon Farley joined from Saatchi & Saatchi. They had previously been with adam&eve DDB.
