MessageGears Appoints Natalia Dykyj As CMO

Customer engagement platform MessageGears has named Natalia Dykyj as its chief marketing officer.

Dykyj previously served as vice president and head of marketing at SparkPost and its parent MessageBird. The new CMO will be tasked with building awareness of MessageGears’ value proposition within a crowded and undifferentiated market, the company says.

“Natalia is a change agent with a proven track record of creating and executing go-to-market and marketing programs that drive results,” says MessageGears CEO Roger Barnette.

The appointment follows MessageGears’ snaring of $62 million in growth funding in December 2022 and its acquisition of Swrve, a mobile app platform that helps enterprise brands deliver mobile marketing experiences to their customers.

In addition, it follows the appointment of Matt McKernan as chief revenue officer last June, and the elevation of Abby Henderson to chief financial officer and co-founder Taylor Jones to chief customer officer. The C-level team also includes long-time chief technology officer, Craig Pohan.

MessageGears helps clients engage with customers via email, SMS, in-app, mobile push, web, and TV. It serves such brands as Expedia, Rakuten, T-Mobile, and Chick-fil-A.
