Stagwell has appointed Helen Lafford as senior vice president, Chief Growth Officer for the UK and Europe. Separately Nick Fox, a 14-year Virgin Group veteran has joined the group in a dual-role capacity.

Based in London, Lafford will help shepherd international growth for the network and  spearhead cross-agency new business development in the region.

A 25-year industry veteran, she joins from IPG media agency Initiative, where she served as EMEA head of growth and led successful new business pitches including Nike EMEA, Arla, ING, Amazon, and AstraZeneca.

Earlier she served at Publicis Groupe’s Blue 449 and Mindshare.

Fox, based in Washington, D.C., will serve as Head of Stagwell’s recently launched Risk & Reputation Unit and as senior managing director for Sloane & Company, the group’s corporate and financial communications agency.
