Kargo Selects Pelino As Chief Strategy Officer

Jennifer Pelino has been tapped as Kargo’s Chief Strategy Officer overseeing the agency’s marketing and media strategy.

Prior to her appointment, Pelino was EVP, global media solutions at IRI/NPD.

Pelino been instrumental in advising top brands, retailers and agencies how to effectively employ tech, analytics and data to lift sales. Before IRI/NPD, she head leadership posts at 84.51, dunnhumby and SC Johnson.

Since 2019, mobile ad provider Kargo has acquired various strategic acquisitions.

Last year, Kargo acquired Ziggeo, a video player and technology company. In March 2022, Kargo acquired the attention-based mobile advertising business ParsecMobile.

Kargo also launched a time-based ad offering in Asia-Pacific, enabling advertisers in the region to buy mobile web ad units priced on the attention rate they secure from consumers.
