Tucker Carlson's Next New Thing

Fox News' loss could be Tucker Carlson's gain.

No, not the Dominion Voting System's libel suit settlement, but Carlson's next new thing now that he's "agreed to part ways" with Fox News.

Remarkably, none of the breaking news coverage of Carlson's sudden departure from Fox News is speculating on what he'll do next, so here are my top 10 hunches. Feel free to add your own in the comments field, or send them my way at joe@mediapost.com.

10 - Host a new prime-time show on his Daily Caller website. Working title, "Tucker Carlson Too Right."

9 - Return to MSNBC to star in a new prime-time comedy show. Working title, "The Sitcom With Tucker Carlson."

8 - Join Comedy Central and star in a remake of "The Colbert Report."

7 - Mount an insurrection.

6 - Cast to portray Curly Howard in yet another "Three Stooges" biopic.

5 - Team with Jon Stewart for a series of public speaking debates across America.

4 - Retire gracefully from showbiz.

3 - Become a professional coyote to help Mexicans emigrate illegally to the U.S.

2 - Make it official and launch his candidacy for 2024.

1 - Become a United States Capitol tour guide.

On a more serious note, Joe, wouldn't it be a hoot if Tucker wound up on the new CNN, now that it's under more "conservative" ownership? Just imagine how he would fare in the Nielsens if he agreed to tone the conspircy theories and related stuff down a bit--or maybe, more than a bit---and took over CNN's 8PM timeslot in the evenings. Of course we don't know what Tucker's severance deal with Fox entails---lots of money, perhaps, in exchange for a no -compete pact? Is he free to go anywhere he pleases? Is a run for U.S. Senator from Florida, which he'd probably win, in the cards---followed by a shot at becoming POTUS?

Tucker can be his own boss I thought he sold The Daily Caller. Newsmax although too cheap to sign Tucker Carlson since Newsmax is low budget the couple of times I have watched it. Or Tucker Carlson & Dom Lemon co-host together and duke it out 5 nights a week in the wrestling ring LOL.
