Xpedition Adds 3 Senior Hires

Marketing agency Xpedition named three new executives to its team. Nandi Smythe was tapped as vice president, creative content, Gabrielle Browne, executive director, business development, and Michelle Kim, director of finance.

These additions to the leadership team bring representation from people of color up to 45% and women up to 64%.

Previously, Smythe worked for multicultural agency UniWorld Group. She will be responsible for overseeing all strategy and creative for the agency’s branded-content division.

Browne joined Xpedition in April, formerly holding senior roles in business development at Landor & Fitch, Eight and SapientNitro. Most recently, Kim worked at Giant Spoon and 72andSunny.

"Xpedition is committed to inspiring and uplifting audiences by respecting the stories we tell,” said CEO Hunter Johnson. "With Nandi, Gabrielle and Michelle on board, we’re better positioned to create impactful stories and deliver excellent client experience as we continue to expand.”

Xpedition's client roster includes Google, Adidas, YouTube, Fitibit and Juniper Networks.

The agency is also part of the production team for the Broadway musical "New York, New York," which earned nine Tony award nominations.
