Asked which celebrities they trust the least, more Americans named
the twice-impeached former president than anyone else, according to a survey of more than 3,000 U.S. adults released this week by online gambling marketplace publisher BonusFinder.com.
Nearly a third of Americans cited him as the least trustworthy celebrity. The study was fielded after a grand jury charged the former president with 37 federal counts.
The rest of
the top 10 list was comprised of a mix of celebrities (Kanye West, cited by 27.4%), politicians like current president Joe Biden (26.6%), Twitter, Tesla and Space X owner Elon Musk (23.6%), and media
personalities like Tucker Carlson (18.9%) and Alex Jones (17.6%).
"Former president Donald Trump took second place on the list of celebrities who have lost the most [social media] followers,
with 14.8% saying they have unfollowed the former POTUS," the study also notes.
The top follower-losing celebrity, according to the study, was makeup artist and YouTuber Jeffree Star (15%
unfollowed).
Tucker Carlson and Alex Jones each tied for third place with 14.6% of respondents unfollowing each of them.
