Wavemaker Names Presidents For Its Global Fast Growth, Consultancy and B2B Practices

Wavemaker announced that its Fast Growth, Consultancy and B2B Practices will be led by three Global Client Presidents, Alastair Bannerman, Anna Hickey and Alex Altman respectively.   

The appointments are expanded remits for the three executives who will continue to lead their existing client accounts. They will also serve as point people between GroupM and WPP and their individual practices and clients.

The Fast Growth unit is a global operation designed to help brands scale their businesses. Back Market recently joined Wavemaker’s portfolio of Fast Growth clients which also includes Square, SeatGeek, Zwift, Coinbase and DoorDash.  

The agency’s  Global Consultancy supports clients in adopting transformative growth solutions across its seven connected practices of Applied Innovation, Ecommerce, Content and Brand Experiences, Data Strategy, Measurement and Analytics, Addressable Solutions, and Tech Consulting. Together, the Consultancy helps global clients to test and learn their way to new growth such as rapidly accelerating in emerging retail media channels (Colgate-Palmolive), building addressable synthetic voice solutions (L'Oréal) and creating cookieless data solutions to unlock new growth audiences (Danone).    

The B2B Practice includes clients such as AXA, General Electric, TikTok, Reuters and Deloitte. With a global center of excellence in London and hubs in North America and Asia Pacific, the practice supports B2B brands across the marketing funnel with a  focus on growth areas like innovation, strategy and measurement.
