Apple on Monday unveiled features to help Apple podcasters measure and grow their audience.
The three new capabilities are:
1. Subscription Analytics—This helps creators see how listeners engage with their premium subscriptions. Using the Analytics tab, they can determine “how many listeners started a free trial, the number of paid subscriptions, the percentage of listeners who convert from a free trial to a paid subscription, and the estimated proceeds generated from their subscriptions,” Apple writes in a post.
In addition, podcasters can obtain a visual breakdown of activations, cancellations and renewals, and can filter sales on the Trends tab by subscription duration to see “the breakdown of estimated proceeds generated by monthly versus yearly subscriptions,” Apple continues.

2. New Delegated Delivery partners—Apple announced Delegated Delivery in January. It has teamed up with these hosting providers: Audiomeans, Captivate, Podbean, Podspace and Transistor.
Podbean started supporting Delegated Delivery on Monday. The other hosting providers will do so by the end of the year.
3. Linkfire for Podcasts—Linkfire is a marketing platform used by artists and labels, Apple says. It will expand into podcasting this fall. Creators with a Linkfire account can generate smart links to landing pages and measure engagement.
