Interpublic Group’s FCB has hired Martina Suess Cromer as its global chief communications officer, a new position at the agency. She starts today.
Cromer joins from WPP, where, for the last four years, she led corporate communications across the U.S., the holding company’s largest market. Earlier she was global head of marketing & communications at Hearst-owned agency iCrossing and vice president of global corporate communications at Wunderman.
The agency said that Global Chief Marketing Officer Brandon Cooke, who was previously responsible for FCB’s reputation practice, will continue to drive new business and growth efforts, which have been expanded to include leadership of global affiliates as well.
Tasked with leading and developing FCB’s collective global communications strategy, Cromer will work to build greater collaboration among the agency’s worldwide network of offices.
Cromer is based in New York and joins FCB’s global leadership team reporting to Global CEO Tyler Turnbull and Global Chair & Global Chief Creative Officer Susan Credle.
