Little Caesars Goes Beyond Freebies For Vets

Little Caesars has a long history with giving to and assisting vets and the military, and this Veteran’s Day is no exception.

On Nov. 11, Little Caesars locations across the country will offer all United States Armed Forces veteran and active military a free Hot-N-Ready Lunch Combo the entire day, with no purchase or coupon necessary. The combo includes four slices of Little Caesars’ Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi drink. Veterans and military personnel must present proof of service ID.

Little Caesars also goes beyond this promo to help vets in other ways.

Now in its 17th year, The Little Caesars Veterans Program provides honorably discharged veterans and Gold Star families with financial incentives to help open their own Little Caesars franchise. The benefits only vets receive include franchise fee discounts, equipment and supply discounts, financing assistance and advertising and publicity support.

"As an organization, we believe that our veterans, the men, and women who have given so much to serve our country, should return home with business prospects to help them achieve their hopes and dreams," said Jeremy Vitaro, chief development officer for Little Caesars, in a release. "We created a program to honor veterans and provide them with an opportunity to become business owners."

Headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, Little Caesars was founded by Mike and Marian Ilitch in 1959. Mike Ilitch himself was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years before opening the first Little Caesars.
