McCann Worldgroup has announced that Suzanne Powers, Global Chief Product Officer of McCann Worldgroup and Chair of FutureBrand, will be departing the company at the end of the year to found her own company. Her roles at the agency will not be replaced.   

The agency said that Powers’ new firm would “focus on helping people and organizations intentionally plan for creativity that drives business impact.” McCann Worldgroup will be its first client.  

Powers has served at McCann Worldgroup for over a decade. She joined as  Global Chief Strategy Officer. In 2020 she was promoted to Global President of McCann Worldgroup in addition to her Chief Strategy Officer duties. Early this year she became McCann Worldgroup’s first Chief Product Officer and Chair of the agency’s design company, FutureBrand.   

Daryl Lee, Global CEO of McCann Worldgroup and McCann, described Powers as a “strategist with epic span,” who “helped redefine what we make and how we make it.”
