Have a little too much spiked eggnog on Christmas? Did Jägermeister seem like a good idea (at the time) during the company holiday party? Or maybe you had a few too many tequila shots on New Year’s Eve? If you’re in Brazil, Burger King has your tech-powered hangover "cure" -- or at least a munchie discount for the morning after.

Burger King Brazil today announced the Hangover Whopper discount promotion, where the recommended meal and amount of discount is proportionally determined by how hungover you appear via a facial recognition app created by DM9.

Once logged onto the promotion site, consumers are prompted to take a selfie, which facial recognition software will use to “measure your hangover level, from one to three,” according to a release. The higher the number, the greater the discount. The site will also recommend which combo best fits your post-party state. Customers are then prompted to promote their results via social media.

“The use of facial recognition technology combined with humor will generate another fun connection with consumers,” said Icaro Doria, co-president and CCO of DM9, in a release.

The promotion runs through Jan. 2, and the discounts are only available on delivery orders. Because who wants to leave the house with a hangover?
