Quiet Storm Names Meer Head Of Planning, Focuses On Client Strategy

Quiet Storm has appointed Adele Meer as head of planning.

A former strategy director at The Brooklyn Brothers and The & Partnership, Meer will head the agency’s strategic arm, working on accounts such as Chicago Pizza and On the Beach.

She reports to CEO Rania Robinson and works alongside company director Jon Howard.

For the past three years, Meer was a consultant for various agencies, including Media Monks and ODD. She has developed strategic campaigns and projects in a diverse range of sectors, including automotive, apparel, energy and confectionery.

Meer led the launch of MINI UK’s first electric car with the “It’s time to feel MINI Electric” campaign. She also developed the new positioning for fashion brand Simply Be while at ODD, moving away from its plus-size focus to becoming the “fit expert.” So far, the repositioning has delivered a 23% increase in new customers.
