Speaking The Design Language: Two Email Creative Firms Join Forces

Beefree, a provider of no-code email creation tools, has acquired Really Good Emails (RGE). The terms were not disclosed.

RGE offers a curated library of over 15,000 email designs from brands.

However, Mike Nelson and his partners at RGE had been “volunteering their time on the project for almost ten years and had decided that it was time to switch gears,” writes Massimo Arrigoni, CEO at Beefree, on the company blog.

Arrigoni adds that the goal is “to deliver more value to their millions of visitors, RGE needed more time, money, and full-time focus.”

A shared culture coupled with “additional financial resources, will undoubtedly bring even more value to our users, ensuring RGE continues to be the top resource for email inspiration, education, and design," says Mike Nelson, partner in RGE.

According to Arrigoni, here is what email senders can expect from the merger.

The Pro version of RGE's email collection tool is now free.

RGE’s Unspam event will receive new investment. Earlier this year, Beefree’s head of strategy & community, Justine Jordan, co-hosted Unspam.

Nelson and RGE co-founder Matt Helbig will take on full-time roles at Beefree, and Matthew Smith and Matt Cook will continue as advisors to RGE.

"RGE always felt like a natural extension of what we do and gets us closer to our mission,” Arrigoni says. “We are truly excited to invest in the brand, the tools, and the fantastic community around it."
