As part of GroupM's "ongoing business transformation," the WPP media services division has created the new role of global president of GroupM clients and tapped Toby Jenner, Global CEO of GroupM's Wavemaker unit, to take it on.

In the new role, Jenner will be responsible for leading "global proposition and go-to-market strategy, as well as its growth, marketing, and communications teams and functions," GroupM said in a statement.

Jenner will also continue to oversee Wavemaker.

A GroupM spokesperson said GroupM's Mindshare and EssenceMediacom units will continue to be responsible for their respective clients.
