Retail cosmetics brand marketer Ulta Beauty has named IPG Mediabrands its media agency of record.
The assignment expands on a preexisting relationship between Mediabrands' Mediahub unit, which has handled Ulta Beauty's core business for the past seven years, and adds Ulta's retail media network, which will be handled by Mediabrands' Kinesso unit.
The account will be overseen by a new bespoke IPG Mediabrands "Team Beauty" entity headquartered in its New York City offices, across the streat from Ulta Beauty's own flagship story at 2 Herald Square.
