Omnicom Reimagines Its 'Cannes Cove'

Last year for the first time Omnicom staged a weeklong series of discussions and other events at the Cannes ad festival via its “Omnicom Cove” space on the beach behind the Palais.

The company is back for a second year with what it’s calling a “reimagined” experience.

Each day sessions will be dedicated to a single topic: AI on Monday, Content on Tuesday, Commerce and the New Consumer on Wednesday, Creativity on Thursday, and Talent on Friday.

Participants include a mix of Omnicom executives and other industry players.

Wednesday (June 19) will include a discussion among CEO John Wren, OMD USA chief Chrissie Hansson and Duncan Painter, CEO of commerce and retail media specialist Flywheel Digital, which Omnicom bought earlier this year for $835 million, its biggest acquisition to date. Commerce and the evolving consumer landscape will be the focus of the conversation.

Earlier in the day Painter will converse with Walmart’s Seth Dallaire about how Walmart's data solutions and partnerships with platforms like TikTok and Meta are driving media conversions and retail outcomes.
