White Claw, T-Pain Team Up To Help Keep July 4 Full Of Hard Seltzer

There’s nothing sadder than an empty cooler at a 4th of July party -- but leave it to the folks at White Claw to ensure that won’t happen.

The hard seltzer brand has partnered with Grammy-award-winning rapper T-Pain to launch the Claw Cooler, the latest product from the company’s Grab Life by the Claw initiative. The first-of-its-kind technology cooler features built-in sensors that automatically detect when the cooler is running low on drinks.

The sensors then proceed to send a signal to the user’s smartphone, prompting them to reorder more White Claw before the cooler runs dry, “so you can continue to Grab Life By The Claw—White Claw's mission to make sure everyone makes more meaningful connections and maximizes time with friends,” per the brand.

"When you're at a grill out, pool party or picnic this summer, you shouldn't have to worry about anything other than connecting with friends and family," said Kevin Brady, vice president of marketing for White Claw, in a press release. "This July 4th, fans can just focus on having fun, enjoying the sunshine and making meaningful connections.”

The cooler is also temperature controlled via a rechargeable battery, and uses an LCD interface to gauge emptiness levels as well as waterproof Bluetooth speakers.

T-Pain debuted the Claw cooler in a new video as well as on his Instagram.

The cooler is also being promoted via White Claw's Instagram and on YouTube.

New and existing members of White Claw’s loyalty program, White Claw Shore Club, can enter to win a cooler and a $1,000 gift card at whiteclaw.com/clawcooler.

And to make it even easier for consumers to keep coolers stocked with White Claw, DoorDash is offering $0 delivery deals through July 7 on White Claw, among other alcohol offers.
