Sun, surf, beer and bikes—all the trappings of a great summer, with two of those summer mainstays brands partnered for a new giveaway.

Kona Big Wave beer and Murf Electric Bikes have launched a contest for customer to win a custom Kona e-bike created by Murf.

The collab e-bike is an “island-inspired Murf Higgs Step-Thru bike painted in the iconic Kona Blue Wave blue and adorned with colorful Hawaiian flowers, stylish whitewall tires and a lockable storage crate perfect for keeping a case of Kona Big Wave,” per the brand’s release.

“This collaboration allows us to merge our passion for the surf lifestyle with Murf’s innovative electric bikes," Meredith Ruskin, vice president of marketing for Kona Big Wave, told Marketing Daily.

The custom e-bikes will be displayed alongside Kona Big Wave displays in over 170 grocery stores nationwide, as well as at a variety of summer events in coastal communities across the country. The contest is also being promoted on all digital channels across both Murf and Kona's networks. Consumers can enter to win online on the Kona website through Aug. 22. The e-bikes are also available for purchase for $2595 on the Murf website

Founded on the big island of Hawaii in 1994, Kona Big Wave is an island-style premium beer available across the mainland U.S. and in more than 30 countries globally. The company was acquired by Anheuser-Busch in 2020.
