BBH USA Taps BBDO's Panariello To Be Its New CEO

  

Publicis Groupe’s BBH USA has appointed Steven Panariello CEO. Based in New York, Panariello joins from BBDO New York, where he most recently served as Managing Director.   

Agnes Fischer, who has led the agency as president since late 2022 left earlier this summer to pursue other opportunities. She succeeded Amani Duncan (now a strategic advisor and founding member of women's empowerment group, Chief) who was the last executive at the agency to hold the CEO title.

At BBDO Panariello is credited with driving growth across major clients like Bacardi Ltd, Pedigree, M&Ms, Snickers, Wells Fargo, and FedEx. He’s tasked with driving similar growth at BBH.  

Before BBDO, Panariello held roles at Droga5, Naked Communications, and TBWA.  

“BBH USA plays a special role at Publicis Groupe with its iconic creative pedigree,” stated Carla Serrano, Chief Strategy Officer at Publicis Groupe. Panariello, she added, “will guide the agency in its next era of growth, reinforcing the agency’s reputation as a leader in breakthrough creativity.”  

BBH clients include JM Smucker (it leads creative as part of the Groupe’s dedicated unit for the client called PSOne), Netflix and Samsung.   

Panariello will work with a leadership team that includes Chief Creative Officer, Erica Roberts, Chief Strategy Officer, Samantha Deevy, and Chief Marketing Officer, Lindsey McNabb Hover.
