72andSunny, a 20-year-old agency, has capped its global growth with a new appointment. Chris Kay has been named to a new role: international president.
He
reports to Evin Shutt, Global CEO. Kay is responsible for the 72andSunny offices in Europe and Asia Pacific. Its client roster includes Google, TikTok, Indeed, TacoBell and Zurich Insurance.
Kay is not stranger to the agency. He served as a partner and managing director for 72andSunny Los Angeles and was the founding president for its APAC offices in 2017.
Prior to this, Kay
was the CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi London and head of the Publicis Creative Practice. During his tenure, the agency picked up the Subway, Marriott International, Churchill, Brewdog and John Lewis
accounts.
In his Publicis role, Kay oversaw Leo Burnett, Turner Duckworth, Publicis Poke, Digitas and Octopus.
