Cadillac is adding another electric vehicle to its lineup -- this time, a three-row SUV.
The new General Motors luxury brand vehicle is called Vistiq, which rhymes with "mystic."
It features 615 horsepower and 649 foot-pounds of torque and will offer 300 miles of range and will start at $78,790 including a destination freight charge of $1,395. It aims to deliver on the brand’s promise of performance, craftsmanship and technology.
With the addition of Vistiq, Cadillac will be one of the only brands to offer an EV entry in every luxury SUV segment, says John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac.
The Vistiq target customer is a leader, says Brad Franz, director, Cadillac marketing. These customers are stylish, confident, ambitious and adventurous and are looking for a vehicle to elevate their busy lives. They need space for their active live that includes kids, pets and cargo. That’s where the seven-passenger seating of the Vistiq comes into play.

The premium luxury vehicle also includes “the tech that really matters,” including available night vision and an augmented reality heads up display, he says.
“One of the ways we are going to position this vehicle is very similar to Escalade,” Franz told media during a preview of the vehicle. “Obviously it checks all the boxes of the ‘we’ — the family, everything you need to do in that perspective. But then also there’s an opportunity here for us to push into the ‘me,’ to be bold, to be expressive. You can drive this vehicle; you don’t always need to be hauling around goods or the family. And that vehicle will make a statement by itself.”
Other technology that will elevate the luxury experience includes a standard 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio system with Dolby Atmos. The vehicle will also include standard Super Cruise, the industry's first truly hand-free driver assistance technology, with three years of OnStar connected service.
Like its big sibling Escalade IQ, Vistiq has a swept-back windshield and black crystal shield grille unique to Cadillac’s electric portfolio.
Vistiq will be sold globally, including in the U.S. and Canada, with production starting in early 2025 at General Motors’ Spring Hill, Tennessee manufacturing plant. The automaker is already collections information from handraisers on a web page.
The Cadillac Vistiq is joining the luxury brand’s EV family at a significant time. It was recently announced that the Cadillac Lyriq is the best-selling mid-size luxury EV in the United States based on registrations this calendar year through September, according to the automaker.
