Martha Stewart, Mark Cuban, and other celebs have spoken on stage at our events. Since so many of you have previously attended our events, keep reading to learn more about the history of MediaPost events.

• MediaPost has produced over 400 events over 25 years. Around 200 of those events have been our Insider Summits. 

• We started the first Email Insider Summit in Arizona in May 2006. The first Search Insider Summit was in Colorado right after in July 2006. That same year our annual Deer Valley version of those summits started as well. 

• Our first event was held in NYC. 

• The first event our own Steve Smith, VP, Editorial Director, Events programmed was the 2007 OMMA Mobile Day where vendors competed to win the first iPhone.

• Last week, we had our 35th in-person Email Insider Summit here in the US and we also had seven EIS in Europe. We also had our 36th Performance Marketing (previously known as Search & Performance) Insider Summit last week. 

• Some honorable mentions of famous speaker we’ve had on stage at our events include former United States VP, and presidential candidate Al Gore, Mark Cuban, Martha Stewart, Reid Hoffman, Milton Glaser, Chris Matthews, Judy McGrath, Vivian Schiller, Evan Williams (Twitter’s Co-Founder), Michael Wolff, Ariana Huffington, Beth Comstock many others. We’ve also featured  CMOs of lots of major brands like Coca Cola, GE, Ford, Samsung, Wikipedia, and many, many more.
