Bell, Shepard Illustrate Ease Of Carvana's Car Buying

Carvana, an ecommerce platform for buying and selling used cars, tapped actors Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard in its latest campaign. The pair have been appearing in the brand's spots since 2023.

The ad underscores the ease of buying a car, which is often a stress-filled experience.

Ryan Keeton, Carvana’s co-founder-Chief Brand Officer, said: “Whether you’re quick to decide like Kristen or a meticulous researcher like Dax, Carvana’s tools empower all of our customers to confidently find the right car, their way.”

The campaign, produced by Carvana's in-house creative team, uses the duo's banter to check out the site's inventory, which includes trucks, sedans, SUVs, electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid cars.

The work runs on digital and broadcast platforms through October.

Carvana launched in 2013 with a unique premise: Customers can find a car, get financing, trade-in and complete a purchase online. Delivery or local pick-up can even be arranged the same day.

"In 2024, Carvana surpassed 2 million cars sold lifetime-to-date, and the models leading our sales this year illustrate the broad range of tastes and preferences among online car buyers,” said Kevin Fitzgerald, senior director, purchasing at Carvana.

Its top-selling models for 2024 were Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Equinox and Nissan Rogue.
