Prior to its Super Bowl appearance, Coors Light is
debuting a new 48-second ad to promote its limited-time beer packaging Mondays Light.
Mischief@No Fixed Address did the creative work.
The spot features Timothy Simons, who plays the weird, wayward Jonah in HBO's "Veep," stumbling over his script, exasperating the director.
It runs on YouTube and the brand’s social media channels.
The brand is also releasing its Chill Roller. Put a 12-ounce can of Coors Light into the holster and it becomes a cool facial
rub.
“At Coors Light, we’ve always believed in delivering refreshment and chill to our fans in unexpected ways,” said Marcelo Pascoa, vice president of marketing at Coors
Light. “Why not chill your face while you chill your Case of the Mondays?”
To help ease the "case of the Mondays" after the Big Game – one of the
especially bad Mondays – the brand also launched limited-time "case of the Mondays" merchandise: shirts, sweat sets, hats and more.
