Spruce Lets The Dogs Out In 19-Market Super Bowl Buy

One-hit wonder the Baha Men, a Bahamian junkanoo band, is best known for the song "Who Let The Dogs Out?"

Spruce, a weed-and-grass killer, has the answer in a new ad. The product spot is running in 19 regional markets during the Super Bowl.

The brand says it is safe to use around animals and people and promises results in an hour. The spray, using nine ingredients, is absorbed in leaves and dehydrates the plant from the inside out.

Raindrop is the creative agency.

“Finally after all this time we have an answer, not only to the question of who let the dogs out, but for people seeking a product that is hard-working and safe for use around people and pets when used as directed. We wanted to celebrate Spruce being worry-free in a fresh way by letting the dogs out to party!” Jacques Spizter, CEO Raindrop, told Agency Daily.

The local buy runs in various Southern markets, including Atlanta, Austin, Baton Rouge, Charleston, Dallas, Charlotte, Tampa and Houston.

Raindrop’s client work has included Dr. Squatch, Native, Weber and Sprinklr.
